Computing underpins a wide range of skills and curriculum areas across the school. At St. Andrew's we aim to provide children with a diverse range of skills and subject knowledge to help them research, explore, edit, produce work as well as developing their knowledge of control and programming.
As a school we have set a list of skills that we expect the average child to achieve during each year group of the school. These skills will be taught both directly and discretely through ICT lessons, as well as during other subject lessons. Below, you can find the document, you can use this to gain an understanding of how your child's ICT skills are progressing, and where you can best support them to move onto the next step in their learning.
